What do I bring to my first session?

Insurance Card, Drivers License and Form of Payment.
(EAP) letter if applicable.

What happens during a consultation?

The Provider discusses typical therapeutic structure (ie: session frequency, in-person or telehealth modalities and appointment options.

How will my Therapist be chosen?

The person completing your consultation will be your Therapist.

What types of therapeutic approaches are used with clients?

Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).

What happens if I do not have any more sessions?
You contact your insurance provider for more sessions.
I have never been in therapy before where do I start?
Start where you are most comfortable and share background information about yourself or inquire about the experience of the Therapists.
Do you prescribe medication?
I am not licensed to write prescriptions. However I can assist you with ways to communicate with your medical provider.
Will my sessions be confidential?

Our sessions are confidential unless you share wanting to harm yourself, someone doing harm to you or you harming others.

How long does therapy take ?

Therapy is a process that can be used fluidly throughout your life. Your treatment will be complete as you feel that you have accomplished your treatment goals.

Is there a fee if I cancel less than 24 hours in advance?
Yes there is a $25 cancellation fee that must be paid prior to scheduling any future sessions.
